IEEE Racing is an electric vehicle racing team dedicated to designing, building, and racing high-performance electric karts while fostering innovation and teamwork, supplying students with practical experience applicable to the workplace.

Every year, Purdue University hosts the Electric Vehicle Grand Prix, inviting collegiate teams from across the nation to compete with their custom electric karts—ours included. Participants fine-tune their powertrains and chassis dynamics before testing their designs in a university-sponsored race, and compete to maximize the energy efficiency of their vehicles. Through these elements, we push the boundaries of innovation and performance.
